Having been the setting for many great events during its 900 year history, The Tower of London will host another - The Tower Festival.

For almost a millennium the Tower of London has dominated the City of London. It is has been an integral part of British royal history and is one of the best-preserved medieval castles in any European capital.

The Tower is one of the world's most famous and spectacular fortresses and stands as one of the capital's most prominent landmarks, a world famous visitor attraction and a World Heritage Site.

Historic Royal Palaces is an independent charity that looks after the Tower of London and receives no funding from the Government or the Crown, so they depend on the support of their visitors, members, donors, volunteers and sponsors.

The festival is an open air event and will go ahead regardless of bad weather.
